Our Story
I got my start in the electrical industry after leaving school in 2001 and completing a pre-trade course. I qualified as an electrician in 2007 and spent the next few years working for the company where I completed my apprenticeship. After some time away, my old boss offered me my job back.
After a period of a few years, I decided to back myself and start my own business in 2010. What began as a sole trader has since grown into Tristram Jay Electrical Ltd.
Today, it’s still just me running the business, which means every job gets a personal approach and you’ll deal directly with me from start to finish. Based in Wellington, I provide reliable electrical services for homeowners and businesses right across the Wellington region. Whether it’s a quick repair, a renovation, or a new installation, I take pride in delivering quality workmanship and honest advice every step of the way.
