A Bit About Us
Chief Construction was born from three generations of building excellence. Founded by Paul after 20 years in the industry, the company started as a father-son partnership that has since grown to include Paul’s own son—making three generations of builders working side by side. What began with Paul’s experience as a builder, foreman, and site manager has evolved into a full-service construction company that’s been serving the community for 7+ years.
Our name tells a story too. Chief Construction is named after Paul’s beloved dog, Chief, who had a distinctive C marking on his chest and was a constant companion on job sites. That loyalty and dedication to being there every step of the way reflects how we approach every project.
Today, our team includes 4 experienced builders, 3 apprentices, 2 plasterers, and a dedicated storeman, along with our trusted network of subcontractors. We’re more than just a construction company—we’re active community supporters, backing local sports teams including the Wellington Pride Women’s rugby team, Maidstone Intermediate, Wellington Orcas, and local hockey teams. We believe in giving back through fundraisers and pro bono community work.
Our mission is simple: provide quality service that’s time-assured, with a willingness to go above and beyond. We take care of projects from start to finish, delivering quality craftsmanship at an attainable price point—without the fluff.
